2009 Road Construction:      

               

  

In 2008 the Municipality successfully applied under the Building Canada Fund for the regrading, subgrade strengthening and seal-coat surfacing of 5.5 kilometres from Grid #798 (10 Mile) to a point just beyond Greenstreet. The Federal and Provincial Governments will contribute 2/3 of the total cost of the project to a maximum of $1,005,000.00. 

The Municipality also has three projects under review for funding under the Province of Saskatchewan – Municipal Bridge and Road Strategy. The projects include:

 

  • Subgrade strengthening and seal-coat surfacing of Grid #798 (10 Mile) from Hillmond to Grid #684 excluding the 10 Mile / #684 intersection.
  • Regrading, subgrade strengthening and seal-coat surfacing of Grid #684 from the 10 Mile to a point 4 miles North and 1 mile West.
  • Regrading, subgrade strengthening and seal-coat surfacing of Grid #675 (Lashburn Grid) from the Landrose Battery Corner to a point 2 miles North.
